Week 19/52 - The right next step to take

4 of Cups: reflective and disconnected. Remember why you started.
9 of Pentacles: abundance, resourcefulness. You have all you need available to you here & now.

Feeling weird over there too? Kind of ‘4 of Cups’: reflective and disconnected? Same.

After a period of changes (external/internal), we’re being asked now to approach life in brand new ways.

The ego goes ‘ok, but what do I do?’ *uncertainty*. That’s when it gets scared and holds on tighter to the known and tries to control everything.

I remember when those paradigm-shift moments used to hit me, triggering a bad anxiety crisis. My protection response was: control everything, try to anticipate the future, get certainty.

But like Elizabeth Gilbert once said ‘You never had control, all you had was anxiety’. Wise woman.

After 6y+ of self work now I know the drill: It’s not our job to have certainty and control over anything - that’s the universe's job (it has the qualifications for it).

We’re just cute little humans, and our job description is literally just to follow the directions. In other words, to be attentive and responsive to life's calls.

"You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step"
― Martin Luther King Jr.

Ok, but how will I know what’s the right next step?, you may ask.

The archetype duo reveals to us:

The opportunities and resources that show up available here & now indicate the right next step - they are the green lights from the universe saying: proceed here.

The 9 of pentacles says that if we’re present enough, we’ll realize we have all the resources we need, at the time we need them, to move towards what we want. (Definition of abundance I got from a person once, which I like a lot).

‘But what do I want, again?’. Yeah, we might’ve lost sight of that too along the way, and that’s ok. The 4 of Cups calls us to remember why we started (aka purpose), and to catch the opportunities aligned to it in the present moment.

‘What if I don’t know my purpose yet?’. Well, it’s never too late to start looking into your story to find what holds a deep sense of meaning to you.

If you still feel you could use 1:1 support to get clarity over those fundamental elements of your journey in a structured and faster way, I created a Self Discovery method and I’ll be opening some spots by the end of this month. If this resonates to you, feel free to reply and I’ll make sure you’ll be one of the firsts to know about it when it's out.

Enjoy the ride flight,

A. Matsui

But I felt called to do it, because someone might need this (like I did). The message is clear: we’re departing - heading out to a new journey, a new cycle. The 8 of Cups tells us to leave behind the old, the familiar, the safe. The 3 of Cups calls us to be aware of...

Most people think of Easter as a Christian celebration of the resurrection of Jesus. And it is — but that’s just the surface layer we’ve been told. Underneath the traditions lies a powerful, ancient wisdom — one that speaks to something deeply human: our need to reset and begin again at times. Easter isn’t just about religion. It’s a symbolic map of transformation that reflects the cycles of nature, the universe, and our inner lives. Let’s explore this hidden wisdom — in a way that even if...
